Understanding Soil Health - How to test your own soil before planting.

In this workshop you will learn how to test your soil and how to read the pH and three of the main nutrients nitrogen, phosphorous and potassium (N-P-K). You will learn how to enhance your soil so you can grow better and healthier food plants.

This workshop is facilitated by local growers Lone Sorensen (Northern Roots) and Jocelyn Apps (Yellowknife Urban Farm) and will take place outside in the Northern Roots Market Garden at 5030-57th Street in Yellowknife.

Once you have registered you will receive instructions on how to collect your soil sample to bring for the workshop.

A soil test kit with 40 tests (10 of each set) is included in the registration fee of $63 (includes GST)
