Starting Seedlings for Your Vegetable Garden:
Thursday, April 9, 2026 at 6:30PM to 8:30PM
Location: at Ecole Itlo - 5700 51a Ave (across from the Northern Roots Market Garden)
Based upon 35 years of food gardening in our amazing climate, you will learn about food plants that grow well in Yellowknife plus the food plants that benefit from getting started early as seedlings. You will be introduced via a hands-on seed starting technique (blocking) as to when and how to start your seedlings. Other ways to start seedlings will be includes, as well as a plan for caring for your seedlings.

Cost: $45 (includes newly started seedlings that you can take home)
Spaces available: 16
